Who we are
Our website address is http://sellerthankyoucards.com.
We only have access to the information that you voluntarily give us when ordering or via direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.
What is disclosed here
- What personally identifiable information is collected from you through the web site, how it is used and with whom it may be shared.
- What choices are available to you regarding the use of your data.
- The security procedures in place to protect the misuse of your information.
- How you can correct any inaccuracies in the information.
Do we collect your personal data?
We do not really collect any data. When you place an order, we store what information you willingly submit for processing and shipping the order such as name and address. We do not process or store credit card payments directly. That is done through the web’s number one secure payment processor, Stripe. It is said that 90% of internet users who have paid for something online have already gone through their secure payment infrastructure. Including many of those who have bought on Amazon.
How we use your data
As mentioned, we will not sell your data to any third parties. We do however use an outside payment processor and shipping platform that sends through the USPS. These companies may have their own privacy policies which we have linked to here. Stripe for payment processing and PirateShip for shipping via USPS.
When you use a contact form, you submit data such as your name, email address, and a brief message. We will use this data to contact you regarding your message you submit.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies may be cleared in your browser cache. This is standard web wide practice for login pages and nothing out of the ordinary.
Embedded content from other websites
Pages on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
An example would be Youtube or Facebook who may collect data about you across the whole internet with their own cookies. They may also embed additional third-party tracking and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website. We do not use such embeds, but in the case that we do in an article, they may track you as they are already doing everywhere else online.
From time to time, we may offer contests and giveaways. In the case that we do, we may ask for information such as name, email, or other demographic information. This is to help us better understand our customer base so we may provide better services in the future. This is all voluntary, and you do not have to participate.
We no longer use 3rd party analytics on our site after learning how these major companies use that data. We know our product is superior to others and if you end up on our website you will buy it. We do not need to track your every click and how you scroll. There is no need to submit your data to these huge companies to sort through. We would like you to know we are very, very unique in this aspect as almost all of the web allows these companies to track your every scroll and click on their site.
